“The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra” Retreat

Mahamudra Tantra is a special spiritual method to access our most subtle mind so our meditation is powerful and very concentrated.  These meditations are used to actualise the final result of Enlightenment. Everyone can benefit from them by:

  • Learning the steps needed for deep concentration & profound insight
  • Increasing your ability to focus, gather your mind & experience your own inner peace
  • Feeling the power of accessing powerful blessings to transform your mind

Session 1: 10 – 11.15 am

Session 2: 11.45-1pm
Session 3: 2.30-3.45pm
Session 4: 4.15-5.30pm

During this retreat we will use The Hundreds of Deities of the Joyful Land sadhana.

This retreat will be based on Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s book The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra.

‘The practice of Mahamudra is like a car with four wheels. By depending on it we can swiftly travel to the ground of the union of Buddhahood. The four preliminaries are like the four wheels of the car. If any of the four wheels are missing, the car will not be able to function; and in the same way, if any of the four preliminaries is missing we will not be able to travel to the Buddha ground through the practice of Mahamudra’ Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Oral Instructions to Mahamudra.
